bookings can be made between Sunrise & Sunset daily
25% deposit to be made on booking via bank transfer on receipt of the invoice and balance to be paid 24 hours prior to departure.
Enquiries to be made within if your time slot isn’t available or if there are alternative routes that you want to take.
The Hut
Established in 2013, The Hut has grown from a small, rustic beach bar known only to the locals into one of the UK’s most iconic restaurants, offering an unrivalled passion for simple yet delicious food, and a buzzing atmosphere that delivers an unforgettable experience. Positioned in the centre of Colwell Bay on The Isle of Wight, protected from the wind and drenched in sunshine from noon until night, The Hut is a place for those wanting to eat well, drink well and have fun by the sea.

Frequently Asked Questions
What boat will I be going on?
We operate a Ribeye S785, accommodating up to 7 passengers.
Is there a minimum number of passengers?
There is no minimum number of passengers that we can take but there is a minimum charge for 2 people.
Will I get wet on the Journey?
We cannot guarantee the weather, but we will do our best to ensure you arrive as dry as can be. We can supply you each with a dryrobe and blankets.
What if the weather is too bad to cross?
If the weather isn’t looking its best for your booking, we will make a decision whether it will be safe to go. If we make the decision that the crossing will be safe we will then be able to go ahead, if we decide that it is too rough to cross and will be unsafe we will have to cancel your
booking and issue you a refund.
How long does the journey take?
This does depend on the state of the sea. Lymington to Yarmouth typically takes approximately 30 minutes. Lymington to The Hut takes approximately 35 minutes. Lymingyon to Cowes takes approximately 60 minutes.
Do you provide lifejackets?
We will supply everyone with a life jacket and it is compulsory that they are worn at all times while on board.
Can we leave belongings on the boat?
We have storage for a few belongings to be left onboard so if you want to bring coats, change of clothes etc this is ok but they will be left at your own risk.
Do I need to pay upfront for my booking?
We take a 25% deposit to secure the booking, Full payment is then needed 24 hours prior to departure. Payments are made via bank transfer.
